The Lawyers of Brown and Roberto is a law firm specializing in personal injury, veterans disability claims, and social security cases. They also have a strong commitment to give back to their community and spend many hours each month volunteering and serving with local nonprofit organizations.

Project Summary

In the Spring of 2014, Brown and Roberto approached Girl on the Roof asking for help with a website that had been designed by another firm. The website worked adequately well on desktop computers, but on mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets, the website had serious design issues and was almost impossible to navigate.

Responsive Web Design provides an optimal viewing experience—easy reading and navigation with a minimum of resizing, panning, and scrolling—across a wide range of devices (from mobile phones to desktop computer monitors).

Using the existing design as a starting point, Girl on the Roof created a brand new and improved responsive website for Brown and Roberto. Rather than using a mobile landing page as the old site did, the new website is completely responsive, and all content reorganizes itself automatically to look great on any device, from smart phones to large desktop monitors. In addition to making the site responsive, Girl on the Roof made other design enhancements to strengthen navigation, improve forms, and add a 24/7 live chat function which allows the website to work for the law firm around the clock
